The call for entries for the International Competition and New Asian Currents (the YIDFF’s main programs) began in September of last year, and the deadline for the International Competition arrived on March 31. We received a total of 902 entries, a 35% increase on the 670 entries we received for our last festival. Right now we’re earnestly ensconced in the selection process. We should be able to announce the selection of about 15 International Competition works in mid-June. Stay tuned!
