The entry deadline for the International Competition passed on April 10th. Thank you for all your submissions, which exceeded those for our last festival. The International Competition lineup will be announced in mid-June.

The deadline for New Asian Currents entries is May 31st, 2009 (entries postdated May 31st will also be accepted). Long-form and short-form works about Asia and by Asian filmmakers are eligible.

From April, the Yamagata Documentary Film Library will be closed on the following days.

Closed: Mondays, Tuesdays (excluding public holidays), New Year’s holidays
Library Hours: 10:00–17:00

For Friday Theater screenings, the library will be open until 21:00. The library is open on public holidays, so please feel free to drop by.
