YIDFF 2019 is over! The week was overshadowed by the approaching Typhoon Hagibis, but the festival was a success thanks to audiences who came from near and far despite the weather, the filmmakers, jurors and other guests, as well as the volunteers and leader staff who supported operations from behind the scenes and upfront. We would like to extend our heartfelt appreciation to everyone. Thank you so very much.
The next festival will be held in October 2021. We look forward to seeing you back in Yamagata then!
