The call for YIDFF 2005 poster designs ended on June 10, and a total of 52 entries were received from 32 entrants. On June 22 a selection meeting was held by the festival organizing committee, and a composition by Yamagata City resident and designer Okubo Jun was chosen. It will be featured on posters, flyers, the festival website, and various other promotional material for the festival.
