2005-04-01 | Nagomi no Sato Spring Screening

This screening lets you enjoy nostalgic images of Yamagata, featuring Yamagata Festivals (“Yamagata Matsuri”), shot in 1956 and showing various festivals held in Yamagata City, and Our Children and Mothers (“Warashi ko to okkaatachi”), filmed the town of Nakayama. Produced in 1962 by the Kindai Eiga Kyokai and the Yamagata Prefecture Teachers Union, Our Children and Mothers is based on the writing and education activities of Utonuma Hiroyuki and Kiyoko, with a script by Shindo Kaneto.
