“Cinema for Children Cinematheque” and Filmmaking Workshop

This autumn, we inaugurated the “Cinema for Children” project in collaboration with Yamagata City, Yamagata University and Tohoku University of Art and Design. Films we’d like to watch with children will be shown in the “Cinema for Children Cinematheque” and a filmmaking workshop is coming up in March next year.

Filmmaking Workshop

Children will experience the entire process of filmmaking—choosing from either fiction or nonfiction, they will write a script, film, edit, and produce their own PR posters and host a screening. Please join us!
