Works as a computer programmer at a TV station. She became deaf after being given an inappropriate fever medication as a child. In 1997, she attended the Visual Media Training Workshop for Deaf People, conducted by Full Shot and commissioned by the Association of Deaf People. A Marriage between the Deaf and the Hearing is her first work.

A young deaf man marries a hearing woman, but the couple has trouble communicating with people around them. The man's younger sister, Chen Mei-lin, who is deaf, filmed the marriage of her brother and his wife for this piece.
