This is our Membership program for those who wish to provide ongoing support to the Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival (YIDFF). There are two types of membership: Full Members and Supporting Members. Anyone who supports the activities of our organization—regardless of age, nationality, or whether they are an individual or an organization—is welcome to join. Full Members hold voting rights at our organization’s General Meeting and play a role in supporting the film festival on a day-to-day basis from within. While Supporting members do not hold voting rights at the General Meeting, their membership fees are eligible for tax deductions as charitable donations. (Full Member fees are not eligible for tax deductions.)
What is Full Member and Supporting Member?
Since 2020, the membership fees and membership periods for Supporting Members have been revised. We sincerely appreciate your continued support.

- Please contact us if you wish to become a Full Member; General Meeting is held once a year to deliberate on projects and annual budgets. If it’s difficult to attend the GM which is held in Yamagata City, we recommend becoming a Supporting Member.
- Membership will be automatically renewed unless a cancellation request is submitted. We appreciate your continued support.
