Welcome to “Docs from Japan,” our online catalogue of new documentaries from Japan with English subtitles. With the recent flourishing and diversification of Japanese documentary production, there is a rising interest from around the world to screen these works internationally. Likewise, Japanese producers are more eager to find audiences outside of Japan. Hopefully, this catalogue will carry the mission of match-making, and help spread interest in Japanese culture, society, and cinema.
